/ʃ/ It is a fricative consonant formed by bringing the front of the tongue towards the palate a little further back than for the /s/ and rounding the lips slightly. The vocal cords do not vibrate when producing the /ʃ/. It's 'not voiced'. The most common writing patterns are 'sh', 'ti', 'ci' y 'ssi' in non stressed endings, 'ch', 'su', 'ssu' not stressed, 'ce' not stressed and 'xu'.
