Consonant /l/
/l/ It is a lateral consonant, the tip of the tongue touches the alveoli and the air comes out through the sides of the tongue. The lips are not rounded. When you release it to the next vowel the tip of the tongue should go down quickly. Vowels cords vibrate when producing /l/. It's 'voiced'. The most common writing patterns are 'l', 'll'. Although it has many exceptions and some special pronunciations among which is to form the nucleus of the syllable.
