/ŋ/ It is a velar nasal. The back of the tongue stops the air that comes from the lungs completely on the soft palate. The sound comes out through the nose. It's 'voiced'. The most common writing patterns are 'n' before 'g' or 'k', 'ng' at the end of the word without considering suffixes, 'ngue' at the end of the word.
